Hope for Haiti
Perhaps you have been following the news on Haiti. Gangs control 80% of Port au Prince and chaos reigns. Last week, gangs attacked the airport shutting down flights. They attacked the prison and released some 4000 prisoners. It is dangerous for citizens to leave their homes. The streets are a battle ground.
Tuesday, the Prime Minister, Ariel Henry finally resigned as demanded by gangs as well as US State Department. A new government is being established and we are hopeful peace will prevail.
Fritz and the kids are ok. It has been very difficult for them to get food and water and we are grateful for their safety. As you would expect, prices are much higher due to supply and demand. We are thankful for your continued support.
