Rev. Amuca is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Barr Christian Vocational Center in the Lira District of Northern Uganda. He was born in the Village of Ayria in the same district. He is married with 5 children.
David received a Certificate in Theology from Gulu Theological College and a Certificate of Recognition from the Barr Sub Grade School. Rev. Amuca is an ordained reverend in the Barr Anglican Church.
Barr Christian Vocational Center is an Anglican church charity, based in Ayira parish, Barr sub-county, Lira District, 12 km east of Lira town - Aloi road, Northern Uganda.
Some 20 orphans and young adults are in educational programs at Barr. Rev. Amuca oversees the programs at Barr and we are grateful for his dedication.

Greetings to you from Rev. David and all of us from Barr Christian Vocational center. We took long to communicate to you because we were very busy preparing the classrooms for training the orphans, abandoned children and school drop outs.
We have admitted 105 in tailoring, 93 in Carpentry and 101 in Brick laying for this first term which will begin next week Monday the 12th Feb. 2024. Our urgent request to you is that we dont have training tools for training them.
The number of the beneficiaries in Ayira parish and Barr sub county who need training in vocational skills are overwhelming more than 2600
Therefore we are requesting you kindly to assist us with $ 2000 only for purchasing 20 sewing machines that will be used for training 105 beneficiaries, 50 kits for carpentry tools and 50 kits for Brick laying tools
