Port au Prince Hospital
400 Kenyan police personnel have arrived in Port au Prince to assist the Haitian police in their effort to regain control of the country. Gang leaders have vowed to fight and continue their campaign of violence and destruction.
Sunday, July 7, the Haiti National Police, regained control of the general hospital in Port au Prince. The elite forces of the police institution dislodged the gangs which occupied the premises.
Circumstances are still very difficult for Haitian citizens. With a new prime minister, we are hopeful the future brings hope of a peaceful and safe environment.
givenet.org continues to support our contacts and orphanage in Port au Prince. Your generosity is appreciated.
