Hope for Haiti

From Monday October 1

The UN Security Council authorized the deployment of a multinational security force in Haiti. In a special meeting organized today Monday, the member countries of the council adopted the draft resolution that the country United States wrote and proposed. There are 13 countries that vote FOR, 2 ABSTAIN, and 0 AGAINST. It is the country of Kenya that will take the head of this mission, which will have a mandate of 1 year. @UN
